Dondi Dahlgaard, DVM

Dondi Dahlgaard is chair of the CatAge Scientific Review Board and director of critical care at SouthPaws Veterinary Referral Center in Washington D. C., where she offers her patients the utmost in veterinary care representing nine veterinary specialties as well as MRI, fluoroscopy, endoscopy, and ultrasound. Dr. Dahlgaard has made several appearances on local news channels and discussed veterinary issues in a feature article in People Magazine in December 1998. Prior to SouthPaws, Dr. Dahlgaard completed a one-year rotating internship at the prestigious Friendship Hospital for Animals and practiced emergency medicine for several years at a 24-hour veterinary referral center. Dr. Dahlgaard majored in zoology as an undergrad and earned her doctor of veterinary medicine degree from the University of Florida School of Veterinary Medicine.
