Dental Dilemma

By CatAge Staff

Don't dismiss your cat's bad teeth or very picky eating habits.

If your cat chews food on one side of the mouth only, drops food while eating, or prefers wet food and refuses dry food, these could be signs of oral disease. If your cat exhibits any of these symptoms, mention it at your next vet visit. If your cat refuses food altogether, has extremely bad breath, or frequently paws at his or her mouth, make an appointment soon to check for oral cancers.
