Give Your Cat Clean Air

By CatAge Staff

Dust, smoke, and air-born kitty litter particles could spell trouble for a cat's lungs.

Cats exposed to household allergens such as these may experience lung inflammation, which could trigger asthma attacks in kitties that are prone to them. To reduce indoor pollution, use a HEPA filter, vacuum frequently, and switch to a dust-free kitty litter. If your cat wheezes or has a hacking cough, see your veterinarian for an accurate diagnosis.
