Loud and Clear

By CatAge Staff

Healthy ears protect your cat's sharpest sense: hearing.

Regularly examining your pet's ears may prevent problems that can impair her ability to hear. To clean, gently wipe away dirt with a moistened cotton ball, avoiding the ear canal. The presence of dark wax, a bad odor, or inflammation may indicate an ear infection that requires treatment by a veterinarian.
